Investment Philosophy and Process

The Select FR Global Equity Fund is a global equity portfolio that aims to provide investors with high long-term capital growth. BlueAlpha follows an active, fundamental investment approach focused on identifying high-quality businesses capable of generating sustainable earnings and cash flow growth over the long term. The team believes that long-term shareholder returns are driven by underlying economic value creation and seeks to invest in companies where this potential is not fully reflected in market valuations.

The Fund maintains net equity and offshore exposure greater than 80% of portfolio asset value and may invest across a broad global opportunity set, including listed equity securities, preference shares, non-equity securities, property shares and property-related securities, interest-bearing instruments, assets in liquid form, collective investment schemes and listed or unlisted financial instruments. Investment opportunities are identified through a combination of quantitative screening and bottom-up fundamental research, with the team conducting detailed analysis of companies, industries and management teams to assess business quality, competitive positioning, growth prospects and valuation. Portfolios are constructed from high-conviction investment ideas, with careful consideration given to diversification and risk management. Holdings are continuously monitored, and positions are adjusted when investment fundamentals change or more attractive opportunities emerge.
